Two
brothers - Gilles the chef, Laurent the Maitre D - and
their wives run this welcoming and comfortable hotel

TV. The hotel has a large terrace. Pets are not permitted.

restaurant offers a level of comfort and service in
keeping with its prestigious reputation - listed and
accredited in all the best and famous food guides, including
the “Bonnes Tables du Lot” and the “Tables
Elégantes”. You'll find the best of Quercy
gastronomy here, with dishes such as "Ravioles
de langoustines poêlées, bouillon
mousseux de crustacés", "Suprême

Capdenac
overlooks the Lot Valley, close to Figeac and Conques.
Its history dates back well before Roman times to about
3000 BC. The old heart of this beautiful little ‘city'
is a delight to explore. Your 3-star hotel is on the
main square with its medieval keep and a cluster of
15thC houses. Isabelle and Bertrand, both locals, run
the hotel. Their welcome is always warm and friendly.
There are just 11 rooms of varying sizes, all quiet
and comfortable, with TV, telephone, desk, hair dryer,
and en suite facilities. The relaxing lounge has a large
period fireplace - it's a pleasure to sit and read here,
to play parlour games, or study the many reference books
that your hosts supply to help you plan your visit to
their area. The old ‘café' is now the breakfast
room. The restaurant gives on to a summer terrace; cuisine
is traditional, based on fresh local produce and regional
specialities such as “la poule à la soupe”,
“le foie gras chaud poëlé sur mique”,
“le feuilleté aux ris d'agneau” and
“la croustade aux fruits de saison”. Pets
are not permitted.
