The 2-star Relais de l’Aubrac is a little paradise for fishermen, and is actually recognised as a ‘fishing-friendly’ hotel, with facilities to store your fishing tackle, a fridge for your bait, and your hotelier totally used to his fishing guests’ timetables. The River Bès is classified as category 1. There are 800m of coarse fishing (what the French call “no-kill”), and fly fishing is also possible. There are also several lakes, small rivers and streams on the Aubrac plateau. The main species fished is the fario trout. Your hotelier can organise your fishing permit (to be settled directly on site).

Its welcome is warm and friendly, with a family ambience. Regional specialities are at the heart of the chef’s cuisine - aligot (based on potatoes and Tomme cheese), terrine of fresh water fish, Lozère lamb, tripe, local beef. In summer, you can dine in the shade of the lime trees; in the cooler months, meals are taken in the rustic dining room. La Chaldette Health Spa is only a few kilometres away, offering a choice of many different spa treatments.

Price per person (sharing double room): from 46€ half-board per night.
The price includes: bed, breakfast and evening meal.
The price does not include: drinks, holiday tax, cancellation insurance; fishing permit.
Available: from 15 March to 15 November 2006
