Booz is an absolutely charming gîte village set in beautiful, relaxing nature. You have the choice of self-catering or opting for a half-board or full-board package with meals taken at the restaurant on site; a take-away service is available. If you love fresh air, wide open spaces and the mountains, this is the place for you - tucked away in the Cévennes National Park at the foot of Mont Lozère. A delightful holiday village occupying the immense grounds (14 hectares) and various buildings of a former farm - barn, plum-drying room, cellar, liquor store, sheep pen and central farmhouse. There are 25 ‘gîtes' altogether, designed to accommodate between 2 & 12 people; some have been adapted for use by disabled persons. The situation is ideal - on the slopes overlooking the Lot Valley, facing the Villeneuve-sur-Lot golf course, and in an area dripping with history as evidenced by the numerous ‘Bastide' towns; just 35km from Bergerac airport. The entire site has been designed and decorated to reflect local customs and architectural styles. Rental is available for overnight stays, weekends, by the week or month. Pets are welcome. There is a restaurant (open May to October) on site with terrace; menus from 16-30€ and à la carte; a “Gascony Evening” is organised on Tuesdays. A ‘half-board option' (breakfast + evening meal) is available at a supplementary 22€ per person per day.
