We are working on some suggestions for stays or itineraries which involve children of all ages (and adults too for that matter) in becoming more aware of the surrounding environment. There can be no better way to learn than when you’re actually enjoying what you’re doing.

There are a vast number of opportunities within the Lot Valley for exploring and learning about the environment, both natural and urban; whether you’re dealing with common or rare plants, wildlife (birds as well as mammals), the upkeep and husbandry of the countryside - and, most importantly for us, the restoration and safeguarding of water. Our river - the Lot - and its many tributaries are our lifeblood as they have always been.

So, watch this space for games to help children learn!
To help them identify flora and fauna. To help them understand eco-systems. To help them understand the relationship between man and his environment and the delicate balance between the two. And in so doing, perhaps even improve their French!

A bientôt. We’re going to try and get this bit up as soon as feasible.

P.S. If you have any suggestions for the type of environmental topics you'd like covered, post a note in our REVIEWS section.
